The 1823 unofficial restrike was made at the same time as the 1804 restrike using a discarded 1823 obverse and an 1813 reverse die. This coin and all others have lumps caused by the heavily rusted dies and die cracks. This is a chocolate brown coin with good details for the grade. From the Old Roswell Mill Collection.
