This is one of the 3 rarest and sought after dates in this active series. PCGS has graded only 12 coins in MS64 and 10 more in all higher grades. This specimen is a near gem original coin having light silvery gray centers with darker multicolored toning about its rims. The strike is sharp, its surfaces are exceptionally clean for a coin of this grade, and it has abundant luster bouncing off of its mostly proof like surfaces.
