From the Old Roswell Mill Collection. This is quite a scarce date for the business strike Classic Head half cent type. Beautiful golden brown surfaces on the obverse with a nice mahogany and brown mixture on the reverse. Virtually mark-free save for a trio of cuts on the obverse to the right of the date. Without these marks, the coin would easily have graded AU58. Superb eye appeal on a coin that proves to be a scarce rarity in the series.
