From the Old Roswell Mill Collection. Always a popular coin being the first authorized silver dollar struck for Congress. The present example has beautiful silver and gray surfaces with a decent strike for the issue. Virtually no marks, save for a pair of ancient pinscratches to the left of the date on the obverse. No spots, atypical for this issue that is traditionally known for its distracting black spots that form on pewter. A superb coin is all regards.
