This is considered to be the first American coin struck, and as such, it is an extremely desirable issue that always sells quickly. This particular coin is also about as reasonably priced as you will find a Continental $1 that is in a PCGS or NGC holder. If you consider that XF40 specimens of the Continental $1 having been selling in the $30,000-$35,000 range, then this coin sounds even more reasonable. It is housed in one of the new style NGC holders where you can see the rims of the coin which is kind of neat. It has good details for the grade, even wear, nice original color, and a good look. Look the scans over, and if you still have more questions, please do not hesitate to call us at 678-319-3005.
