This tougher Buffalo nickel in mint state has excellent eye appeal, and it displays some wonderful luster and brilliance. ANACS placed the label Lamination on the coin due to a small planchet imperfection on the buffalo's rear leg. The 1918-S issue is commonly seen to have some planchet imperfections. However it is not distracting, and the overall look of the coin is great.
