With a very small number of coins surviving from the original mintage of 7,500 coins, this is one of the rarest dates in this series and one of the more difficult to find. To date PCGS has graded only 7 coins in MS62 and a total of 6 more in all higher grades. This is a totally original coin with a medium grayish color with scattered tan overtones. The strike is very good and its surfaces have few small marks. This is a nice coin for the grade, and should appreciate greatly in value in coming years.
