This is one of the nicest 1854-D $3s we have handled. The strike is absolutely great, including the mintmark, it has just the slightest trace of wear, its surfaces are really nice, and its eye appeal is excellent. This coin is becoming increasingly harder to find in any condition, and any specimen offered for sale quickly disappears. This is a great coin for the money, and if this is a date for which you have been searching, you should seriously consider this one.
