A scarce Civil War issue with a very low mintage. With common date MS61s selling for over $4,500, these low mintage $3s seem under valued. $3 gold coins are more popular than they have ever been, and seem to have only one way to goup!!!
An above average coin for the grade with a good strike, luster, and color.
